Paint Your Dragon Egg Game Graphics

 

These graphics were produced to show what the Paint Dragon Egg game level could look like. The graphics had to be colorful, energetic and beautiful. The intended audience was young children. The project goal was to generate interest in developing a whole Game. The Game would take place in an idyllic fantasy place. Kids would have opportunities to play and problem solve to earn coin so they can level up in the game and leave the Dragon Barn to go to outside to complete more advanced activities. There would be built in sleep time for the dragons to limit screen time and introduce off-screen activities, such as printable coloring pages, dance move instructions, songs and poems. Kids would earn coins by returning to play the game, nurturing their eggs and dragons by keeping them warm, feeding, and dressing them and by completing various activities. When Kids complete activities songs, game secrets, coloring pages, dancing dragon animations showing dragons they could have when they buy more eggs are unlocked. Kids will use keys to unlock a door to the get to the next level where the dragons can interact more with the environment—flying, swimming, catching dragon flies, playing hide and seek.

Other activities that unlock as the Kids play are wack-a-thing, leap frog, matching items, numbers, letters, counting, Alphabet, id shapes, letters, numbers, small words. Kids will save their coins in a treasure chest to buy dragon food and accessories, more eggs, and keys. Kids earn metals and ribbons when they purchase items for their dragon and buy more eggs. Their awards hang on the barn wall. They also have their dragons and awards show on their profile page. As Kids add more eggs, the barn widens with a side scroll to view the entire environment. The navigation dashboard will have glass buttons, a map of the game level areas and parent tray that has instructions and resources links for parents and kids.
