Peggy Lee Oster Studio

Peggy Lee Oster Studio Logo / Id

Logo to brand Peggy Lee Oster Studio emphasizing the hand-crafted quality of my visual art on paper, canvas, walls, fabric and web. Folks will know where to go to get hand crafted fine art and visual design with a hand-made artistic feel.

The things considered in developing this logo included an inventory of my point of view and assessment of my aesthetics. My point of view includes: Creativity takes courage. Hand-crafted. Originality Seeker. Collaboration is critique and feedback. Open minded. Capturing the essence. Equal Opportunity. My aesthetics include: Representational. Mixed Media. Expressive. Collage. Idea behind image. Multi-layered. Figurative. Humanity. Inside Out. Humour. Then I created a word list of what my point of view and aesthetics might look like in terms of tangible things: Figurative – Silhouette Body. Faces – Human Expressions. Textural. Brush strokes. Sketchy. Basic shapes. Blues & Pinks. Golds. Copper. Aquarius. Water. Fish. Yaz – Situation 1982. Rococo – Clam shell.
And started sketching concepts. I asked family and friends who know me and my work which of the images they thought represented me and the qualities I wanted to convey. Then I asked people that didn’t know me so well what the images conveyed.
